TECHNICAL CONDITIONS
The entry must be submitted in both Hungarian and English, exclusively electronically, via the capa-nagydij.capacenter.hu website.
In case you have already taken part in a contest using the eContest system, you don’t need to register again; you may use your earlier credentials.
Please, do not provide your personal information anywhere else (e.g. in your CV), but only in the designated fields.
details of the entrant:
in the case of a single applicant
- name
- photograph (the longer side is minimum 1500 px)
- place and date of birth (Individual applicants must be over 30 years of age, i.e., applications submitted by applicants born on or before 31 December 1991 are welcome.)
- residential address

- citizenship (the contest may be entered both by Hungarian citizens, and non-Hungarian citizens living in Hungary):

- the purpose and period of his or her stay – the organizers may ask for certifying documents from the candidate regarding the purpose of staying in Hungary in any phase of the contest
in the case of an arts group
- details of the arts group as a whole
- name of the arts group
- official address of the arts group
- email address of the arts group
- phone number of the arts group
- personal details of the members (maximum 5 persons) of the arts group (important: please include the details of the group’s leader first, who also warrants for the authenticity of all other data)
- The contest may be entered by Hungarian citizens, and non-Hungarian citizens living in Hungary. In the case of groups, at least half or the majority of the members must meet this requirement.
- At least half of the members of the arts group must be over 30 years of age (being born on or before 31 December 1991)
the entry: that is, the presentation of the work in progress, including the following:
- the title of the entry (maximum 150 characters per language, including spaces), and its description (maximum 1000 characters per language, including spaces) – here it is recommended to write about what is already possible to see and ready in the entered material.
- maximum 20 images, in JPG format
- image title, if applicable (maximum 150 characters per language, including spaces) and caption, if applicable (maximum 600 characters per language, including spaces)
- for groups, the author of the actual work can be specified in the image caption
- one uploaded file may include one photograph or a pair of images
- the longer side of the images to be uploaded (for image pairs the total length of the two photographs) must be between a minimum of 2,000 and a maximum of 6,000 pixels; otherwise, the system will not allow uploading
- a change compared to previous years is that only photos are allowed to be submitted as part of the entries
a synopsis, a project plan: in which the candidate explains how s/he intends to complete the work in progress (elaboration of the content and schedule); here it is suggested to describe what is to be seen only later, created only after receiving the grant
- maximum 4,000 characters per language, including spaces
a detailed curriculum vitae
- text field (no character limitation)
portfolio: a maximum of five earlier works, maximum 20 photos per work, and maximum 60 photos in total, which may include the following:
- the titles of the works (maximum 150 characters per work, including spaces) and description (maximum 1000 characters per work, including spaces)
- JPG format images
- each image counts as a separate item
- image title, if applicable (maximum 150 characters per language, including spaces) and caption, if applicable (maximum 600 characters per language, including spaces)
- for groups, the author of the actual work can be specified in the description
- one uploaded file may include one photograph or a pair of images
- the longer side of the images to be uploaded (for image pairs the total length of the two photographs) must be between a minimum of 2,000 and a maximum of 6,000 pixels; otherwise, the system will not allow uploading

The awarding organization or the jury may ask for the original files and other original documents related to the submitted material in any phase of the competition.
